Quick Update
We have completed our first play testing of Endless Swarms and while it was quite fun, it was a bit too hard. Although we could have really built our lists to win, and played hard to do so, we wanted to make it a bit easier, at least in its default build.
To this end we have changed how it works to now only require a minimum of 1 Troop choice per army, and HQ's are no longer required.
So your 500 points can be spent on a wider variety of units allowing more experimentation.
In addition we found the most frustrating component of play was that the Tyranids could walk onto the table, move, shoot, and assault you, so moving away from the center lead often to a unit being bogged down indefinitely.
To alleviate this, we have changed the rules to no longer allow units without deep strike to declare a charge on the turn they are deployed.
Re-download the core rules to see the adjusted rules set.

Starting out
Hey guys I just wanted to post that my friends and I have recently decided we wanted a game to play where we play 40k, but cooperatively against a shared bad guy, but there was not a great way to do this. We also wanted the bad guys to have their choices made for them, so we didn't have to worry about it, and make the system have other RPG elements, as well as scaling difficulty depending on the number of players.
To this end we created Endless Swarms.
I spent a lot of time making neat card decks to use and using the program "Magic Set Editor" I was able to make them and print them in high detail, then just glue them to the front of playing cards.
This game features random monsters attacking a fortress that the players own, and has relic treasures, random objectives, rpg victory point rewards, and random events.
I hope other people have fun with it, and we are looking for more feed back and ideas. Especially if you can give us ideas for more equipment, monsters, and events!
Thanks and good luck!

To help share the game we have now created a short blog to help share the game with more people, collect feedback, and give updates.
